The latest Calgary MLS Map has been released - with new communities, and a recent separation of quadrants into more refined areas, the shape of the city of Calgary and how we know it has changed!
Take a look at the new CREB (Calgary Real Estate Board) map and the changes that might change how you define the area and quadrant you live in!
Many buyers and sellers in Calgary are familiar with the old school break down of communities, north east, north west, south east, and south west, but as our city continues to grow and evolve, so does the way we view it! The new 2019 Creb map has eight quadrants to define the city, they are city centre which includes communities like Altadore, Sunalta, Beltline, Sunnyside, Renfrew, the North East quadrant which features communities like Coral Springs, Rundle, Redstone, Skyview. In the East quadrant, we see communities including including Erin Woods, Albert Park / Radisson Heights, Southview, and Valleyfield, while the North west includes lake communities like Arbour Lake, and established mature neighborhoods like charleswood, Brentwood, and Varsity. In the west we find many luxurious communities including Aspen Woods, Discovery Ridge, Signal Hill and Patterson, and in the South you'll find a collection of communities many surrounding fish creek provincial park, including Woodlands / Woodbine, Canyon Meadows, Parkland, the newly developed Shawnee Slopes, and Canyon Meadows. Finally in the north you'll see a collection of newer communities including Sage Hill, Evanston, Livingston, Nolan Hill, Sherwood, and Carrington, and in the South East you'll see a collection of lake communities including Auburn Bay and Mahogany, as well as Seton, Cranston, and Riverbend.
City Centre
