Chaparral Single Family Homes For Sale

One of the few lake communities of Calgary is the community of Chaparral that can be located in the southeastern quadrant of the city. This community was developed by Genstar and has an estimated 12,000 people residing in the community. Its borders are Macleod Trail on the east and Marquis de Lorne Trail on the south. The homes in this community as well as the 22-acre park is surrounded by the 33-acre man-made lake that became a popular place in Chaparral. This 33-acre man-made lake was finished in 1995 and was maintained by the community ever since. In order for the residents to access this lake, they had to pay an annual membership fee.
