A stage coach trail was where the name of the community of Coach Hill was originally from and this trail ran from Calgary to Banff. The boundaries of Coach Hill are 69 St SW, Bow Trail, and Old Banff Coach Road. At the western end of this hill is the most popular place in Coach Hill that is famous for its stunning view of the mountains and the city “Broadcast Hill”. Another notable place that was built in this community in 1954 was the CTV Calgary station. Condominiums, townhouse, and luxury homes were then built in the 1980s.
