Memorial Park Library
The library is located in the south of Calgary’s downtown as it was opened in 1912. It is classically-inspired library that has a grand columned entrance and staircase, rich and ornamental exterior, and elegant interior. It is the first public library in Alberta, and it still preserves its cultural and educational hub that made the library be granted to have a special status as a national historic site.
