Palliser Community Information
Established in 1967, Palliser is a residential neighbourhood in the south-west of Calgary. It is bordered to the north by 90 Ave SW, to the east by 19 Street SW, to the south by Southland Drive SW and to the west by 24 Street SW. The community was named after John Palliser, a traveller and surveyor in western Canada. He lead a campaign to examine the land mass between Lake Superior and the Pacific Ocean.
