Established in 1973 and named after Robert Terrill Rundle, a missionary who served in Western Canada in the mid-19th century. Rundle is a suburban community in the north-east of Calgary. It is bordered by 32 Avenue N to the north, the Trans-Canada Highway to the south, 52 Street E to the east and 36 Street E to the west. Shortly west of the community is where the Sunridge Mall is situated.
