Established in 1982, Sundance is a suburban community in the south-east of Calgary. It is situated in the east of Macleod Trail, is limited to the north-east by the Fish Creek Provincial Park and to the south of Stoney Trail. Sundance Lake is a 33-acre man-made lake constructed in the heart of the community. Residents also have easy entrance to the public beach of Sikome Lake.
