It operates within Alberta’s charitable gaming model as a traditional casino, as it splits the net proceeds to the charitable organizations. Charitable organizations are licensed by AGLC, and provide volunteers for each two-day event at the casino. Under statute of the city, each charitable organization is obligated to reinvest their portion of casino proceeds back into the city's community through worthy projects, and beneficial services. Also, their employees support one another and their communities through initiatives of donations for the food bank and gifts for families at Christmas.
