The only man-made lake community in Northwest Calgary. It is situated in the Country Hills Boulevard in the north, Crowchild Trail in the south, Stoney Trail in the west and Nose Hill Drive in the east. It was established in 1992. It was conceptualized by David Poppit along with the community’s developer, the Melcor Developments Ltd with a lake neighbourhood and grassy landscape in mind. Today, the neighbourhood is known for its lake, parks and mountain view that paves a way to a lot of outdoor recreational activities such as skating, biking, hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing to name a few.
