Established in 1973, Queensland is a suburban community in the south-east of Calgary. It is bordered by the community of Diamond Cove to the north, to the east by the Bow River and Fish Creek Provincial Park, to the south by Canyon Meadows Drive, and to the west by Bow Bottom Trail. The community is located proximately to the Bow River. The whole slope provides a wonderful overlooking the river and it has been assigned as a public open space for the residents.
