Established in 1960, Southwood is a suburban community in the south-west of Calgary. It is limited to the north by 98th Avenue, Macleod Trail to the east, Anderson Road to the south and 14th Street SW to the west. Passing through the northern part is the Southland Drive while Elbow Drive divides Southwood. C-Train LRT system stations, the Southland and Anderson serves the area.
